He's there on his adventure!

My darn cute hubby just made it to Chicago for basic training. This is going to be the longest 6 months of my life, so bear with me readers. I'm just glad work never slows down so that i won't get bored. And now i will have to write every day to get my thoughts out of my brain!

my list today is going to be about all the things i love about my honey. it is ever growing, so i will keep adding to it! And they aren't in any particular order.

• I love how he always answers the phone hey beautiful when we talk
• I love that he helps clean the house and always does the dishes because he knows how much i hate doing them.
• I love his cute little chicken legs! They are so tiny!
• I love how he always helps out. anyone. anytime.
• I love how he always holds my hand, kisses, hugs, or has his arm around me when we are together
• I love how he listens to my crazy rants, but never tells me i'm crazy! (even though i am!)
• I love how lucky i am that he adores me and tells me that frequently!
• I love when he writes me messages that say he misses me multiple times throughout the day, even though we work down the hall from each other.
• I love that we never get sick of each other.
• I love that he tells me he loves me at least 50 times a day! I know that seems like a lot, but that is how many times on average he says he loves me every day. Most of the time even more!

This is why its difficult that he's gone. He does make me crazy sometimes and i know i make him crazy too! But he is literally THE best husband ever! Now everyone reading this can be jealous. Sorry!

Shopping for furniture stinks!

So, we have been married for 5 years now and just last year purchased our first piece of furniture. It was a mattress. Best investment we have ever made. This year because of family visits, etc. we are investing in a new couch that someone could sleep on, or has a bed. We've been looking at the classifieds to try and find something that we like and something that is comfortable, but how can you tell from the picture or the owners description? Or do you call and ask if you can barge into their house to look at it and sit on it? That seems so scary to me. Its a little easier in the store, but we will definitely end up paying more. So, help! I obviously don't have much experience purchasing furniture and need some guidance! (and now I'm laughing at myself, because that statement/exclamation seems totally ridiculous. Oh well.)

Opening a Show......

I know a lot of people don't blog because they are busy with life in general. I am one of those. I have a very exciting, very fast paced life and some days i don't get to it, but i did think about blogging all day Thursday and Friday and, you get the point. But Friday we opened a show!

All week last week we were watching dress rehearsal's for DISNEY'S Camp Rock the Musical! This is the show i got to design this summer and after watching it last week, it truly does rock! The music is awesome! And its only an hour and 30 minutes long.

I also discovered that i would be a really good stylist. I just need some big name to find me and pay me lots to do it. it was so much fun searching for modern, hip clothing and making the leads stick out in this show. Everyone else is in cute printed shirts that say camp rock, but the colors are stellar.

Pretty much if your in the area and want to catch a totally awesome show, THIS IS IT!

Make-up for Rock Stars

This post is actually about make up in all shapes and forms, but make up for rock stars is an adventure in itself! What rock star doesn't wear some awesome eyeliner? AND what person on stage doesn't wear eyeliner so that you can actually see your eyes? We have all done it! So, just remember when i say you should wear it, it isn't because i want you to look pretty or girly, its because i want you to look hardcore! And not have squinty eyes. There is a method to my madness!

Things that bug me about the summer.....

• fake tans! spray on or tanning bed. one will eventually give you cancer and the other just always looks so awful!
• Shorts. not everyone should wear them, even if it is 105 degrees outside.
• girls in tanks without bras. this is not attractive in anyway.
• mosquitos. i cant stand getting attacked by them every time i go outside after dark and i'm afraid of west nile.
• not having air conditioning. no explanation needed

I am starting this to......

• Take up some time when my husband leaves for boot camp
• vent about weird things i see people do
• vent about weird things people do to me
• vent frustrations about my job
• talk about the weather

This is all going to be pretty lighthearted. i'm not going to use any names, but if they by chance read this and feel guilty, that is not my fault!

I probably won't care about grammar, punctuation or capitalization (especially of I! why do we have to capitalize that singular letter and not a?). so if those things bug you then you are not required to read this!
